Barring the very rare client with an allergy to medical grade adhesive used in tattoo aftercare products, after your tattoo Ashley will apply Recovery DermShield to your brand new tattoo. This product is similar to many others that you may be familiar with, such as Saniderm, Tegaderm, Tatuderm, etc. although in our experience DermShield is a superior product.
When using DermShield, aftercare is super easy! You don't have to worry about applying ointment or washing your tattoo several times a day. Just leave the thing alone. Showering is fine, but like any other fresh tattoo, you will need to avoid soaking (such as in a bath, pool, hot tub, etc.) for the duration of time that the DermShield is

Showering is fine, but like any other fresh tattoo, you will need to avoid soaking (such as in a bath, pool, hot tub, etc.) for the duration of time that the DermShield is applied. You may remove the covering 7 days after the tattoo procedure.
-If you appear to be having a reaction of some sort to the adhesive in the DermShield, please reach out to me immediately (before removing) and send a photo so that we can determine if its best to remove it or to leave in place.
